J. Denton Adams graduated first in his class from the North Carolina Central University School of Law’s evening program, posting one of the highest GPAs in the law school’s history. He served on the N.C. Central Law Review for two years, serving as its executive editor for its 34th Volume. He also received the Daniel G. Sampson Award for Academic Scholarship. He also served one year as an elected representative for the Evening Council, representing the interests of law students in the evening program.
For the past seven years, Mr. Adams has served as the production editor for the N.C. Insider, a publication that covers state government news and politics, affording him a keen understanding of state government and the myriad of forces that drive it.
Mr. Adams focuses his practice on litigation in a variety of legal areas, from criminal to civil litigation in both the federal and state courts.
